So I’ve been on here for the past 2 years trying to get pregnant. We had all but given up and I’ve just been logging periods and sex days as it had become routine. I have slightly irregular periods so don’t usually test until 2 weeks after I’m due and to be honest I haven’t bothered the last few months as I had pretty much given up and have been super busy at my new job.
I realised this morning after putting “preparation” pads on for a few days that my period was still not here and bought some tests on the way home only to find 2 very clear lines on both tests! to say I was shocked was an understatement as we had literally only had sex once that month! poor husband is still in shock as we had started to give baby supplies away as after four early miscarriages in the last 2 years we just didn’t think it was going to happen.
I am so excited to meet the newest addition to the family but also worried about loosing them as only 6 weeks along.
At 37 years old we have said this will be our last chance as we don’t want to risk doing this any later in life.
