  • question about progesterone

My doctor called me in progesterone as soon as I called the office saying I was getting a positive this last time but I had to call a few times and argue with the nurse to get her to ask him about it. The nurse kept saying if it's another MC there's nothing they can do but the doctor told me to call the day I receive a positive and he'd call some in. It helped but I was supporting an ectopic pregnancy and had to be rushed into emergency surgery at 9 weeks for a ruptured fallopian tube. When you get your positive call the doctor's office and tell them you're a high risk pregnancy and would like to be placed on progesterone as a safety net for the pregnancy. It helps MANY women who have early MC. Baby dust to you!

Hey ladies I just wanted to do an update. It's been 2 days since I had to have surgery which was just in time! My fallopian tube had already ruptured and I was bleeding internally and had no idea! They said I was very lucky I came in when I did. I'm happy to have it over with and healing. I atleast know now that the worst is over and I'm on a road to recovery. A little traumatized at the moment to think about having a baby with 5 incisions in my stomach and feeling like this but we are going to just rest and relax the rest of the year with it as we can't try again till atleast February so we have awhile to heal from everything. They sent me home with a picture of what I came in with. I'm so shocked the tube already ruptured. That and having blood transfusions wasn't what I thought I'd be waking up to. Baby dust for the rest of y'all though! This momma needs to heal mentally and physically.

Hey ladies I just wanted to update everyone. I ended up going to the hospital to get everything checked out and I'm glad I did, I'm having an ectopic pregnancy. My choices were to have surgery to remove the baby and lose my tube along with it or have a couple shots to terminate and dissolve the baby. I chose to try the shots. Over the next few days I'll be losing the baby. We are so heartbroken but I'm thankful it was caught in time to try the shots instead. I have an appointment Tuesday and Friday to make sure my HCG levels are dropping. We won't be able to try again for 4 months so I'm going to just relax the rest of the year with TTC and pray 2024 is our year for a healthy pregnancy. Thank you all for always responding and your kind words. I did meet an OBGYN at the hospital who wants to work with our fertility for the coming year so out of all of this I'm thankful for that. My current OB hasn't made me feel comfortable with being a high risk pregnancy. I've called the last 2 days telling him something was wrong and they didn't have me coming in. Always trust your own instinct.

Ok anything new?!  Praying for you
My test are definitely positive now. My AF day passes with no sign of it! First time I've got a positive and not bled, so I feel better about this one!
